Being that there are so many sorts of ladies shoes and boots in the high-street shops, e.g. ladies platform shoes, it’s a good move to get an understanding of the sorts of shoes on the market.

Flats
Flats are simply shoes without a heel. Flat shoes are usually slip on, although there are some types that have a strap across the instep or tie just like gentlemen’s dress shoes (known as Oxfords). Flat ladies shoes are flexible; they look great with jeans, capri pants, and long skirts.

Heels
Heeled Ladies Shoes come in a variety of divergent heights and styles, such as:-

• Pumps that are merely ladies shoes that come with a low-cut vamp (the top part of the shoe), a mid-height narrowing heel, and a rounded or narrowed front.
• Chunky heeled ladies shoes that come with a large heel which doesn’t taper much and are to a greater extent more easy to wear than pointed heels. Chunky heels come in each and every height and normally possess a rounded or square front.
• Stiletto heels that come with quite tall , highly pointed heels, often with a metal support inside to stabilize it. Stilettos often feature a very narrowed front.

Women’s sandals
Women’s sandals come with casual and prom varieties. Casual sandals ordinarily feature a flat heel and are utilitarian, or trendy, such as gladiator sandals. Prom sandals come with a high heel and narrow leather or satin straps. They are typically worn for a party.

Women’s Mules
Women’s mules are shoes with no back and are ordinarily low-heeled or mid-heeled. Mules are perfect when at the workplace, as they look good with trousers and skirts and may be casually slipped off below the office desk to loosen up your feet.

Women’s Boots
Ladies Boots can be practical, such as sheekskins that are ideal for keeping your feet warm, or flat riding boots ideal for riding horses. Trendy women’s boots have a diversity of heel heights, from simply to the ankle or to the thigh.
